During the pandemic, I moved to Cusco for a period of six months, taking my motorcycle with me. On weekends, I explored the city and its surrounding towns, immersing myself in the beauty, culture, and art that this incredible place has to offer. Along the way, I met many talented people, some of whom have been recognized worldwide for their accomplishments in various art forms and many more who could easily had been.
As a filmmaker and educator, I felt an overwhelming urge to do more, to contribute to the artistic community that had inspired me so much. It was clear that Cusco, with its rich artistic heritage and vibrant creative energy, had so much potential. That’s when the idea for a special project was born: to create a high-end, hands-on 12-week art program designed for the young people of Cusco.
This program would focus on nurturing the next generation of artists by providing them with the tools, guidance, and exposure they need to develop their craft. It would offer mentorship, practical workshops, and an opportunity for these young individuals to connect with the wider global art community. The goal is to equip them not only with technical skills but also with the confidence to pursue their passions and tell their stories through art.
This is a way to give back to the place that has inspired me so much, by creating a platform for youth in Cusco to express themselves, grow their talents, and potentially gain recognition on a global scale. Through this program, I hope to contribute to the vibrant future of Cusco’s art scene and inspire the youth to see the world as their canvas.

Your donation empowers the next generation of artists, providing them with the resources and mentorship to turn their creative potential into lasting impact.
